I practiced parallel parking yesterday.  I made an appointment to get my license this morning so I crammed last night, trying to study for the inevitable.  I brought unto our driveway a dust mop and a metal broom hoping they would be long enough to see in the dark.  Ten minutes later I quietly re-entered our house with a broken dust mop, splinters jutting left and right, and a squashed metal broom.  My mom just laughed and the next morning my dad took me to take my drivers test.

After my fathers wise training and detailed instruction I felt prepaired for the test!  I passed and exited the Georgia Drivers License Department 30 minutes later, proudly bearing my new card with my smiling face smack-dab on the front.  Happy Day for Emiloo!

Although I know the errand list will soon abound and driving

will undoubtedly feel a chore rather than a privilage.  But as for now, I can't wait to get on the road!!
